EVENT: Trojan Horse Ontario Tour to Fight Privatization of Hospital Surgeries
ARM Members – Join the Fight Against Privatization of Hospital Surgeries
CUPE Ontario's Council of Hospital Unions (OCHU-CUPE) and the Ontario Health Coalition are touring Ontario with a 15-foot Trojan Horse to protest the Ford government’s privatization of our public hospital services. This initiative represents the false claim that privatizing surgeries will reduce wait times. In reality, the government is diverting public funding and staff from our hospitals to for-profit clinics, which increases wait times, raises costs, and illegally charges patients for necessary care.
The Trojan Horse tour continues to cities and hospitals across Ontario, spotlighting this critical issue through media events. We encourage all ARM members to join in and show support. Your presence makes a difference.
